Excellent progress made at the Hyde School in Barnet

In the week that primary children across the country are being tested, we thought we’d highlight some wonderful progress in learning at one of our schools in London. During a recent review of progress children spoke with enthusiasm about the improvements at the Hyde. Amongst the comments made were:

“Assemblies are much more fun”

“Reading is better, we have to do it ten times”

“The clubs are better, we have a lot more we can go to”

“We love Miss Djora’s challenges”

Simon Adams, Regional Director for London said, “Children are really proud of their school and love coming! The children are a huge strength of the school, displaying great learning behaviours. Teaching has improved and the best lessons are characterised by great pace, good use of assessment for learning and rich learning environments. The Principal, Jo Djora, has done an amazing job.”

We’d like to wish them and all the children in all primary schools the best of luck in their SATs this week.
