Kings Rise makes great strides with pastoral care group

We’re very proud of the work Kings Rise Academy is doing to help children feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. The ‘Crew 8’ programme builds children’s confidence by getting them involved in their communities for example planting trees and doing other community work.

In the words of Academy Principal, Paul Edgerton, “Crew 8 was born out of a need to support, nurture and care for our most vulnerable children. By showing respect to these Kings Rise Ambassadors, we instil a sense of worth, encouraging them to put their heart and soul into school and the local community. The pride that radiates from these children proves that Crew 8 really works.”

Well done to all involved!
