At the Hyde School in Barnet, Jo Djora’s catchphrase is, ‘It’s all about the children!’ and today those children go to an outstanding school. Jo and her exceptional team have taken the Hyde from special measures straight to outstanding in all categories.
OfSTED inspectors said: - Under the headteacher’s inspired and relentless leadership, the school has made rapid progress in the 18 months it has been an academy
She has built an excellent team of senior leaders who all share the same vision, drive for improvement, determination and passion
Children thrive because they enjoy a wide range of stimulating experiences carefully planned to meet their needs
Pupils are articulate and confident because they are proud of their achievements. All groups of pupils make outstanding progress
The school meets the needs of disabled pupils and those who have special educational needs extremely well
The school has benefited enormously from being part of a wider family of schools through the Elliot Foundation Academies Trust
