Nene Infant and Nursery School
Federation of Nene and Ramnoth Schools The team of teachers, teaching assistants and governors at the Nene School are committed to ensuring that your child will achieve success, enjoy their education and become a confident, active learner. This is an exciting time in our school’s development as on 1st October 2013 we converted to be part of The Elliot Foundation Academy Trust and federated with Ramnoth Junior School. We are now able to offer one school on two sites, with our mission statement being ‘I can, you can, together we can’.
Our Elliot Foundation baseline assessment reports that ‘in the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 the children are exceedingly well looked after and the adults work hard to create a learning environment in which the children will thrive and develop learning skills.’ Our latest Ofsted reports show that our Little Owls Nursery has ‘outstanding’ provision and both Nene and Ramnoth are ‘good’ schools with ‘outstanding elements’. We aim to provide your child with a broad, balanced, stimulating and challenging education. The emphasis will always be on the quality of teaching and learning within a caring, happy ethos and environment.
Nene School places great importance on the parent-child-school partnership. We expect that you will want to become fully involved in your child’s education. We are proud of our school and feel confident that your child will respond to the dedication and expertise of its staff. Our aim is that your child will leave us as a more caring, more knowledgeable, more thinking and more self-assured young person.Back to East Anglia Schools
