Within The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust governance model a Community Council is a group of volunteers appointed by the Trust, parents and staff. They play a crucial role in our schools by providing challenge but also positive support to the Principal and Senior Leadership on behalf of the children and community that the school serves.
As an advisory body, they focus on the ethos and values of the school; the effectiveness of the curriculum and wellbeing of the school community. They know and celebrate the strengths of the community alongside holding the highest aspirations and expectations for our pupils.
Further information on each Community Council can be found on each individual school website (available here).
