TEFAT Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy 2023
The Elliot Foundation and its constituent academies fully recognise our legal responsibilities for safeguarding children and child protection, as set out in the policy legal framework.
Looked After Children Policy 2023
The Children and Families Act 2014 amends section 22 of the Children Act 1989 to require every local authority in England to appoint an officer employed by the authority, or another authority, to make sure that its duty to promote the educational achievement of its looked after children is properly discharged. That officer is referred to as the Virtual School Head (VSH).
Online Safety Policy
The policy is on two parts – Part A is an overarching policy for the Elliot Foundation and applies to all academies. It should be adapted with individual academy names. Part B provides a template for academies to adapt to the detail of their own specific circumstances.
